Dear friends,
as I had announced during August, I did not publish blogs, partly because of the vacation I had and partly because of business obligations.
During that period, I had interviews at a regular pace.
But now, starting next week, we're going back to the old format where I'll be posting blogs at least 2 times a week. We are entering a very interesting and exciting time for uranium. As the WNA Symposium in London is going on, I am getting a lot of information from friends who are there since I could not attend this year. The story about the supply and demand of uranium is getting a new dimension and that what has been talked about for a long time is now getting its epilogue and that is - incentive price to achieve sufficient new uranium mine development must be reached or there will be a major supply deficit. As a hot topic, there is also the Cameco market update where we saw they face challenges at the Cigar Lake mine and Key Lake mill that are expected to impact our 2023 production forecast. This news has an impact on the spot price and will continue to do so in the coming period.
There are still a lot of interesting things that I will share with you in the coming days, and the best ones will be told by the guests who will come to my show in the coming period, and who attended the symposium.
