better days for uranium stocks are here I believe. Stocks have largely continued today
their winning streak that goes from the end of last week. Today's top news is nuclear fuel price reporters TradeTech reported a +$5 jump in the May Month-end Mid-term #uranium price from $54 to $59/lb.

📝OPG and OSGE enhance cooperation on SMRs
Canada's Ontario Power Generation (OPG) will provide operator services to Poland's Orlen Synthos Green Energy (OSGE) under a letter of intent signed between the partners, extending their existing cooperation on the deployment of small modular reactors (SMRs).

📝 Kazatomprom completes second China shipment, announces management changes
The heads of Kazatomprom and CGNPC-URC said the companies plan to further develop and strengthen their partnership as they marked the completion of the second delivery of fuel assemblies manufactured by the Kazakh-Chinese Ulba-FA enterprise to a nuclear power plant in China. Separately, Kazatomprom has announced the latest in a series of changes in its senior management.

📝 Dutch regulator approves multi-functional storage facility
The Authority for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection (ANVS) has granted the final permit to the Central Organisation for Radioactive Waste (Covra) for the construction of a new multi-functional storage building for low and intermediate-level waste at its site in Nieuwdorp, in the municipality of Borssele, the Netherlands.
📝 NRG exits nuclear with sale of South Texas Project stake
Constellation Energy has agreed to purchase NRG Energy's 44% stake in the South Texas Project (STP) for USD1.75 billion. The plant - located about 90 miles southwest of Houston - comprises two 1280 MWe pressurised water reactors which began providing electricity in 1988 and 1989, respectively.

📝Baselode Starts 10,000 Metre Drill Program at ACKIO High-Grade Uranium Zone, Hook Project
Baselode reported today that 10,000 metres of diamond drilling are planned for their Hook project this summer. The breakdown includes 7,500 metres allocated to delineation and expansion diamond drilling on ACKIO (Figure 1), and 2,500 metres partitioned in three to five areas for reconnaissance exploration to discover the next uranium zone on Hook (Figures 1 and 2). The ACKIO delineation and expansion part of the Program will first focus on the shallowest and/or the highest-grade uranium intersections defined in last years successful 22,500 metre drill campaign. Drill collars have been planned to optimize the allocated metres by intersecting multiple zones of mineralization from the same setups, and by limiting drill holes to specific stopping depths. The drill program is anticipated to be complete by October. With the recent closing of the financing, the company remains fully-funded to complete the program.
📝 GoviEx terminates Falea deal with African Energy Metals
Exploration and development company African Energy Metals’ (AEM’s) proposed acquisition of all the issued and outstanding shares of uranium exploration and development company GoviEx’s wholly-owned subsidiary Delta Exploration Mali, has been terminated because AEM was unable to complete the obligations required for closing. .

CanAlaska today nnounced the promotion of Cory Belyk to President of the Company effective June 1, 2023. Mr. Belyk will continue as Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") and as a Director of CanAlaska. Continued resurgence of interest in the uranium market as part of a carbon-free clean-energy world has continued to accelerate the Company's activities. Recent new high-grade uranium discoveries at it's West McArthur and Moon Lake South joint venture projects, and continued project generation activity in the world's richest uranium district in Saskatchewan, have CanAlaska ready for the next steps in its evolution. Mr. Belyk leads CanAlaska's exploration and management teams, located at the Company's office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
