what's new today?
Not much, the markets had another rather gloomy day so uranium shares took the same direction. Spot price stayed the same today. Maybe the biggest news today is Pakistan and China signed a $4.8 billion deal on Tuesday to build a 1,200-megawatt nuclear power plant.
Zuri Invest is up and runing so we could see some more movement in spot price very soon.

📝Pakistan and China sign $4.8 billion nuclear power plant deal
Pakistan and China signed a $4.8 billion deal on Tuesday to build a 1,200-megawatt nuclear power plant, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said, hailing the investment by a country that Pakistan views as its most dependable ally.
Work on the Chashma 5 project would begin immediately, Sharif said on state-run news channel PTV following the signing of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between China National Nuclear Cooperation and Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission.
📝 Korean, Danish companies team up on LEU fuel salt supply
Kepco Nuclear Fuel (KNF) and GS Engineering & Construction, together with Denmark's Seaborg Technologies, are to investigate the feasibility of developing a low-enriched uranium (LEU) fuel salt production facility in South Korea. Seaborg is developing compact molten salt reactor (CMSR) technology.
📝Conceptual design of Polish HTGR released
The conceptual design of a new Polish high-temperature research reactor, developed by the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ), has been unveiled. Developed with input from Japan, the reactor could be built in Poland at the NCBJ.
📝 Holtec's HI-LIFT speeds Indian Point decommissioning
The heavy load handling technology allows modern casks and canisters to be safely loaded, even when they are beyond the limits of the plant's installed cranes, saving time and money over conventional methods, the company said.w.world-nuclear-news.org/
📝 Pegasus Resources Enters Into Option Agreement with Compton Minerals
Pegasus Reources announced that the Company has entered into a property option agreement (the “Agreement”), dated June 14, 2023, between Compton Mineral Corp. (the “Optionee”), an arms-length party, and the Company, pursuant to which Pegasus has granted the option (the “Option”) to the Optionee to acquire a 100% interest in the Garnet Lake / Arrow Zone claims (the “Property”), which consists of 131 claims (2,620 ha).
The Agreement is subject to the consent of Glencore Canada Corporation and is subject to the rights of Glencore Canada Corporation in respect of the Property, including a 2% net smelter returns royalty in favour of Glencore Canada Corporation.
Terms of the agreement between Pegasus and the Optionee are as follows:
$25,000 CAD cash payment within 45 days of execution of the Option Agreement;
issuance of 500,000 common shares of the Optionee on TSX Venture, CBOE, or CSE acceptance of the Option Agreement;
$50,000 CAD cash payment and issuance of 1,000,000 common shares of the Optionee on the 1st anniversary of trading;
$50,000 CAD cash payment and issuance of 1,000,000 common shares of the Optionee on the 2nd anniversary of trading.
make such payments as necessary to keep the Property in good standing.
📝Aura Energy Successful Share Purchase Plan Completed
Aura Energy advised today that the Company’s Share Purchase Plan (“SPP”) announced on 3 May 2023 raised $670,495.
The total raised between the SPP, and the placement announced on 3 May 2023 is $10.7 million. A total of 3,624,271 ordinary shares will be issued today to SPP participants pursuant to ASX Listing Rule
📝 Labrador Uranium Completes Acquisition of Angilak Property
Company announced the completion of the previously announced acquisition of the Angilak Property, located in Nunavut Territory, Canada from ValOre Metals Corp, all by way of a court-approved plan of arrangement (the “Arrangement”). The Arrangement was effective on June 19, 2023. The Company also announced that it has satisfied the outstanding conditions for the release of the escrowed funds from the Company’s previously announced C$12.6 million brokered private placement of 18,672,000 subscription receipts and 14,359,698 flow-through subscription receipts, which closed on April 5, 2023.
